An immersive diving experience through listening.

The sea breeze blowing through your hair, the waves lapping at your feet, the seagulls circling in the sky and the sound of honking sirens in the distance ...... Close your eyes and enjoy a scuba diving trip that starts at the beach.
Working Process
My goal with this spatial audio was to make the audience feel relaxed while having an immersive diving experience.

The entire editing process was completed on Reaper.
For the recordings, I borrowed the recording equipment to record some of the sounds I needed and then post-produced them on the software. For those sounds that I needed to use but didn't have the means to record myself, I would create on the software via a downloaded plugin suite.

One of the challenges was the ambient transition from land to underwater, the sounds in the environment are different and underwater can sound more oppressive.
